Science and Climate Communication
We turn research on climate and sustainability transformation into things people can use: strategies, films and tools. Science communication is not a style we apply to finished results. It is the work of deciding what a result can honestly be made to say, and then building the thing that says it.
Climate Media Factory has done that since 2011, when it was founded as a spin-off of the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research and the Film University Babelsberg Konrad Wolf. Scientists and media professionals work together on format and content here. That is the whole idea of the company, and its two partners stand for its two halves: Dr. Bernd Hezel, physicist, formerly at the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research, and Ephraim Broschkowski, creative producer, author and director.
