Bernd not only oversees the overall operations and strategic direction of CMF, he is also our knowledge base for all things related to climate sciences and tech. As part of CMF’s contribution in numerous research consortia, Bernd leads activities on scientific model architecture, co-creation, and results exploitation. He investigates decision-making tools like the LOCALISED Pathways Explorer and decodes climate science results to translate them into understandable metaphors and narratives of plausible futures.
