STEEP-CarbonTrans Online Tool

The STEEP-CarbonTrans Online Tool is an interactive flow diagram designed to help users explore pathways for transitioning the chemical and waste industries toward sustainable practices. Aimed at students, it provides an overview of the current chemical and waste sectors and makes projections into near- and long-term scenarios for industry transformation, highlighting greenhouse gas reduction potential and electricity requirements for each option. CMF developed this tool for the Chair of Decarbonization and Transformation of Industry at the Brandenburg University of Technology (BTU) in cooperation with TU Bergakademie Freiberg.
