New Film for 3FOR-Project: "Forests for the Future"

For our 3FOR project (together with Technical University of Munich, funded by Velux Stiftung), we produced a short documentary on climate-resilient forest management in Brandenburg.

Filmed at the 3FOR stakeholder workshop at the Brandenburg State Ministry, "Forests for the Future" follows three voices from research and policy: Dr. Ulrike Hagemann (Landeskompetenzzentrum Forst Eberswalde), Felix Moczia (Ministry for Agriculture, Environment, Climate Protection and Consumer Protection, MLEUV) and Dr. Konstantin Gregor (TU München). Together they discuss drought-stressed Scots pine stands, the trade-offs between the many services a forest provides, and the science-based scenarios that could shape tomorrow's forest policy.
