This animated short film for the Economics of Land Degradation Initiative illustrates the value of productive land for the provision of ecosystem services. It shows the current rapid depletion of this valuable, non-renewable resource and what we risk to lose as humanity.

The Value of Soil was screened at Food & Water: International Short Film Festival on Sustainability, as well as the Deauville Green Awards and was selected for the Think Forward Film Festival.
