Simple solutions can have complicated impacts even if they seem, at first glance, to work efficiently and to benefit the climate. Geo-engineering includes measures such as the installation of artificial trees, ocean fertilisation for CO2 removal from the atmosphere and stratospheric sulphur injection to reflect sunlight.

CMF was commissioned by the Institute for Advanced Sustainability Studies (IASS) Potsdam to develop an animated short film that does a reality check on climate engineering.
