Serious Game: Our Climate Story | Climate Media Factory

Designed by Climate Media Factory and developed in collaboration with KAJO-Services and CNR-IMATI for the I-CHANGE Project.

Our Climate Story is an interactive board game designed to engage citizens of all ages in understanding and tackling climate-related challenges. It serves as an educational tool that transforms complex climate science and sustainability concepts into an accessible, hands-on experience — making the urgency of climate action both tangible and personal.

At the heart of the game is a powerful narrative mechanic: players co-create climate stories rooted in their own communities. By weaving together local environmental data, real-world hazards, and community-based solutions, the game empowers players to explore the unique climate challenges their regions face — and to imagine and act on paths toward greater resilience and lower carbon emissions.

Players can develop entirely new local stories or immerse themselves in existing climate scenarios based on the experiences of the I-CHANGE Living Labs located in:
