Catharina is the visual brain at CMF. She conceptualises the visual language for entire projects (e.g. RethinkAction), develops graphic elements for games and animations (e.g. I-CHANGE) and is responsible for the overall visual appearance of CMF. Connecting her interest in critical design, design theory and gender studies, Catharina always tries to strike a balance between ethical representation and aesthetics. When it comes to designing scientific content, she is driven by the challenge to simplify complexities, while at the same time develop a visual language that is sensitive and inclusive. Outside of CMF, Catharina likes to spend as much time as possible in nature with her friends.
